What kinds of organizations do you typically work with?
We work with established Malaysian professional services businesses — primarily legal practices, accounting firms, management consulting companies, and other professional service organizations. We are generally better suited to organizations that have been operating for some years and have developed relationships and structures worth examining.
How does an engagement typically begin?
We begin with an initial conversation — usually around thirty to forty-five minutes — to understand what your organization is facing and whether an engagement would be useful. If we proceed, we prepare a brief written proposal setting out scope, timeframe, and fee. Work begins once that is agreed.
Are engagements conducted in person or remotely?
We are based in Kuala Lumpur and conduct much of our work in person — particularly stakeholder conversations, which benefit from being face-to-face. Where convenience or geography makes it appropriate, some conversations are conducted remotely. We discuss the approach at the proposal stage.
What is included in the written report?
Reports vary by engagement type. For firm advisory, the report covers our observations on the areas examined and a set of considered recommendations. For relationship strategy work, it takes the form of a framework document — a practical reference for how to approach client relationship practices going forward. We discuss the expected format before work begins.
How do you handle confidential information?
All engagements are conducted under confidentiality. We do not discuss client matters with other clients or use information from one engagement to inform another. We are happy to formalize this in writing if that is helpful to your organization.
Are the prices listed the full cost?
The fees listed represent the engagement fee for the standard scope. If travel outside Kuala Lumpur is required or if the engagement scope needs to be adjusted, we discuss any variation in the written proposal before work begins. We do not add unexpected costs during an engagement.
